Before joining METIS ADVISORS, Mariana was an Executive Director at Santander covering TMT, Industrials and Basic Materials. Prior to that, Mariana was a Vice-President at Bradesco BBI, an Associate Director at UBS Investment Banking team in London, an Associate at Citibank Latin American Investment Banking team and an Analyst and Associate at ABN AMRO’s Corporate Finance team in Brazil.
Mariana Nishimura 37 years old Brazilian with more than 15 years of investment banking experience in Brazil and in Europe, advising clients in a wide range of cross-border and domestic M&A transactions across different sectors, as well as corporate reorganizations and ECM transactions.
Successfully completed more than 50 transactions with a combined value in excess of US$ 100 billion across many sectors, such as: utilities, infrastructure, telecommunications and technology, chemicals and petrochemicals, industrials, shipping, retail and agribusiness.
Received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV and a MBA from the INSEAD. Fluent in English and Portuguese (native).
